Early life

Koneenika is a commerce graduate from the Sivanath Sastri College, an affiliated college of the University of Calcutta. She started her acting career in television. Her debut appearance was in a soap named Swapnanil telecasted under Zee Bangla. Her 1st big-screen appearance was Moloy Bhattacharjee’s movie Tin Ekke Tin.

Manabi Bandyopadhyay

Manabi Bandyopadhyay is the professor and first transgender person in India who has completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). She was an associate professor in Bengali near Vivekananda Satobarshiki Mahavidyalaya also took charge as principal of Krishnagar Women’s College on 7 June 2015. She is India’s 1st openly transgender college principal and also started work as such in 2015 at the Krishnagar Women’s College in Nadia district. Manabi is a devotee of Sarada Devi and also she was initiated in spiritual life through Swami Atmasthananda.
